Maxwell Alexander
Over the years I have worked in many different mediums, ranging from oil pastels, acrylics and multi media. I have studied at Tafe Art College in Perth and Claremont school of art (also in Perth). My work has been exhibited in Civic centres, schools, store front windows and art shows in Canada and Australia; and has been acquired by purchasers from UK, USA Canada and Australia.My style varies and covers a wide range of techniques. Subject matter ranges from nudes to abstracts, the emphasis being on creating an impression or mood rather than realistic attention to detail. I think of myself as a colourist as colour (and the feelings colours evoke), dominate my work.
